Position Requirements
Strong experience in
Western cuisine
(e.g. Modern Australian, bistro-style, European classics)
Minimum
5 years of relevant work experience
(Head Chef or Senior Chef experience preferred)
Ability to independently manage food preparation, cooking, and quality control
Robust knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards
Ability to work well within a team and manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
Applicants
must be currently based in Australia
Asian cuisine experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality Western-style dishes
Maintain consistent food quality and presentation standards
Assist with menu planning and daily kitchen operations
Train and supervise kitchen staff
Control food costs and maintain a clean, organised kitchen
