A well-established supplier to theAustralian mining sectoris expanding its footprint acrossCentral West NSWand is seeking an experiencedAccount Managerto support and grow relationships withunderground and surface mining operationsthroughout the region.
The business suppliesheavy‐duty earthmoving wheel and rim solutionsused onmobile mining equipment, including loaders, haul trucks and underground production machinery.
Customers includemine owners, principal contractors and maintenance service providersoperating across hard‐rock mining environments.
This is ahands‐on, field‐based rolesuited to someone who enjoys being on‐site, engaging directly with operational teams, and building long‐term partnerships across active mine sites.
The territory includesParkes, Orange, Dubbo, Cobarand surrounding mining regions.
About the Role
Reporting to a NSW‐based leadership team, the Account Manager will take ownership of a definedCentral West NSW mining territory, managing existing accounts while identifying and developing new opportunities within bothunderground and open‐cut mining operations.
The role requires regular site engagement with customers operating heavy mobile fleets and a strong understanding of how equipment performance, maintenance and lifecycle costs impact mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships withunderground and surface mining operations, principal contractors and maintenance providers
Sellearthmoving wheel and rim solutionsinto heavy mobile equipment fleets, including loaders, haul trucks and underground machinery
Conduct regular on‐site visits to assess equipment condition and identifyreplacement, upgrade and standardisation opportunities




Engage key stakeholders includingMaintenance Managers, Mobile Plant Supervisors, Engineering Managers, Asset Managers and Procurement teams
Develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and across new mining operations in the territory
Prepare quotations, manage follow‐ups and maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting
Work closely with internal operations, service and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
ProvenB2B sales or account management experience selling into mining sectors
Exposure toheavy equipment, mobile plant, OTR tyre, wheels, components or industrial mining products (not essential)
Prior experience calling on open cut or underground mining operations in Regional New South Wales (essential)
Strong relationship‐building skills with operational and procurement stakeholders
A self‐motivated and autonomous approach to managing a regional territory
Excellent communication, negotiation and technical presentation skills
Willingness to travel regularly acrossregional and remote NSW mine sites
Currently living in, or actively considering relocating to, Central West NSW, with ideal locations includingParkes, Orange, Dubbo or Cobar(or nearby regional centres)
