NTT Data is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a leading federal government department for an initial 6 month contract based in Canberra.
Initial 6 month contract + 6 month extension.
Hybrid working – minimum 2 days per week in office.
Due to the secure nature of the work, candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance.
To align with the current scope of work, we are seeking candidates with experience in one of the following specialisations (experience in both is not required): Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps, or ServiceNow, including service catalogue management.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, validate and document business requirements
Model business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Assess and communicate risks, issues, and perks of solutions
Generate insights from data, identifying trends and patterns
Act as the key liaison between stakeholders, developers, testers and project teams
Develop user stories and/or use cases
Support business transition and help embed change initiatives
Key Requirements
Proven ability to produce high-quality business analysis deliverables, applying structured techniques and critical thinking
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables, meet deadlines, and adapt to change




Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate
Experience facilitating workshops and managing varied stakeholder groups
Demonstrated experience in either: Microsoft Dynamics / PowerApps; or ServiceNow and service catalogue management
Familiarity with system development and project management methodologies
Experience working in Agile environments
