About the Client
Our client is a large boutique accounting practice based close to the Perth CBD specialising in providing tax and business advice to its diverse client portfolio. Following recent growth and influx of new work, an opportunity for an intermediate level accountant has become available. Solid technical knowledge developed through career development, ongoing studies and regular tax institute training is a must for this role. They are offering a generous remuneration package for the successful applicant, CA/CPA support as well as an opportunity for further career progression and training.
Role and Responsibilities
Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
Working directly with clients and providing solutions on general tax matters.
Providing assistance in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters where required.
Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
Providing advice to a large and varied client base.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
2-3 years' experience
CPA/CA part-qualified would be preferred but not essential
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in dealing with complex groups
Division 7a/UPE's exposure and knowledge desirable
Ability to work unsupervised
Team player
Motivated to build a public practice career
