We represent a leading Australian commercial law firm.

They are currently looking for a Lawyer to join the Environment & Planning team in their Brisbane office.
n
The Environment & Planning team at this major commercial law firm comprises a discipline of top tier lawyers across all their offices.
n
With a strong national practice, the team advises on all aspects of workplace and planning law from major infrastructure projects, through to ecologically sustainable development, contamination and remediation, water, energy & resources and planning issues.
n
The team regularly acts for for a range of major corporations and government clients and is widely-regarded as a leading practice.
n
Position Description
n
You will work closely with four partners who are consistently regarded as leaders in their field and genuinely great to work for - yet also have exposure to the wider team nationally.
n
The type of work you will be involved in will include:




n
n
environmental impact assessments
n
remediation and development of contaminated land
n
development approvals
n
planning appeals
n
regulatory approvals or licences
n
development of town planning schemes.
n
n
It is a collaborative and friendly team.
n
Requirements
n
The successful applicants will have 18 months to 4 years' post admission legal experience.
n
You will have experience in environment and planning law.
n
In addition, you will have:
n
n
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as people skills
n
strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
