Tranzformd is supporting a large‐scale healthcare technology rollout within a leading medical imaging network. We are seeking a
Medical Software Trainer
to deliver practical, hands‐on training to doctors and clinical staff on newly implemented clinical software systems.
This is an initial 6‐month FTC role, and we need someone based in Melbourne. This role will sometimes be weekends, and flexible with time off during the week depending on training schedules.
This role is ideal for someone with a
medical imaging or clinical background
who understands how doctors work in real clinical environments and can confidently support them through change.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver end‐user training to doctors and clinical staff on two newly implemented clinical software platforms
Facilitate training sessions primarily from a central head office hub, where the majority of doctors will be trained
Provide on‐site training and support across clinics in Victoria and Tasmania as required
Train clinicians on:
Voice recognition software
used for dictating medical imaging reports
Train clinicians on:
Clinical workflow software
, including worklists and task management
Adapt training delivery to suit fast‐paced clinical environments and time‐pressed medical professionals
Support weekend and after‐hours training sessions as required
Act as a key point of contact between clinical users and the broader transformation team
Capture feedback, identify challenges, and contribute insights to improve training outcomes
Required Skills & Experience
Medical or clinical background is essential
Medical imaging experience strongly preferred
1+ years experience out of University
Strong understanding of hospital and clinical environments
Comfortable communicating with and training doctors
Strong listening, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
Comfortable working independently and adapting to change
Willingness to travel and work weekends or after hours as required
Candidates
without a medical background
will not be suitable for this role.
