Workshop Foreman
to lead our fabrication and fitting team at our Dandenong South facility.
About the Role
This is a leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality work and knows how to get the best out of a team. You'll oversee the day‐to‐day operations of our workshop, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, on time, and to our high standards.
You'll work closely with management, clients, and site teams — coordinating fabrication, fitting, and maintenance projects in our workshop, while maintaining an efficient and well‐organised workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and workflow within the workshop
Allocate labour, materials, and equipment across multiple projects
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Lead, mentor, and develop tradespeople and apprentices




Communicate effectively with site supervisors and management
Maintain a clean, safe, and productive workshop environment
Provide input into job planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Qualified tradesperson (Fitter, Boilermaker, or similar)
Proven experience in a supervisory or leading hand role
Strong mechanical and fabrication knowledge
Excellent leadership and communication skillsOrganised, reliable, and calm under pressure
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
A hands‐on approach — willing to lead by example
