The Department of Education is seeking applications from people interested in employment opportunities across central and regional offices throughout Western Australia.
Public servants and education officers working in non-school settings play an important role in supporting students, schools and communities by delivering strategic, operational and specialist services that contribute to quality public education outcomes.
This Employment Register may be used to fill permanent, fixed term and temporary public servant and education officer vacancies across a range of occupational groups and classifications.
As a public servant, you will support schools, students and communities through a wide range of professional, technical, operational and leadership functions.
As an education officer, you will use your knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning practices and requirements in your area of specialist expertise to support schools through the Department's strategic initiatives.
Eligibility to register, or hold current registration with the Teacher Registration Board is a requirement of the Education officer role.

data, research and analytics

Eligibility to work
If you receive an appointment from this Employment Register, you will be required to:
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights
obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start employment
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
