Senior Consultant at Perigon Group - Permanent Finance & Accounting
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join a rapid-growing, top-tier construction group at a pivotal stage of expansion.
Working closely with both Finance and Operations, this role will be hands-on in delivering project reporting, cost control, and commercial insights across a diverse portfolio of high-value residential and mixed-use projects.
You'll partner directly with Project Managers and operational leaders, providing financial clarity and commercial support to ensure successful delivery of major builds.
Responsibilities
Ownership of end-to-end project accounting including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
Preparation of WIP, margin, and variance analysis across multiple projects
Month-end close and project reconciliations
Partnering with operations to provide insights that shape decisions and drive performance




Reporting on project outcomes and supporting commercial reviews
Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis and reporting
About You
Proven project accounting experience within the construction sector (essential)
Strong understanding of WIP, cost control, and project reporting
CA/CPA qualified or currently progressing towards completion
Excellent communicator, confident partnering with both finance and site teams
Hands-on, detail-focused, and commercially minded
