About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits a passionate and experienced VCE Chemistry teacher based in Melbourne, to join a growing secondary school in Melbourne's West.
With 1,200 students across two campuses (Years 7-10) and plans for full VCE expansion into ****, this role offers the chance to inspire students in a dynamic and future-focused learning environment in years *****.

Design and develop engaging lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the VCE Chemistry curriculum.
Deliver high-quality instruction to students, facilitating their understanding of complex chemical concepts and theories.
Create and administer assessments, including tests, quizzes, and exams, to evaluate student comprehension and progress.
Organize and supervise laboratory experiments and activities, ensuring the safety and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve academic success.
Collaborate with other teachers, department members, and school administrators to enhance the overall learning experience for students and contribute to the school community.
Participate in extracurricular activities related to chemistry, such as science fairs, clubs, or competitions, to further enrich students' learning experiences.
Skills & Experience:
Tertiary Qualifications in Education
Current VIT registration
Have unrestricted working rights in Australia




Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Chemistry at VCE level in Vic/Australia
Ability to start this term (Term 2)
Able to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
Teaching Upper Secondary (year *****) VCE Chemistry
Expanding school with introduction of year 12 in ****
Brand new/modern facilities
Commencement from now- Term 2, **** in a full time, ongoing role
Receiving a salary commensurate with your demonstrated expertise, within the range of $78,000 to $116,000
