Randstad is currently working with a sovereign defence manufacturer of high‐tech defence systems that is integrated onto various defence platforms operating in mission‐critical environments. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on a project to support the Australian Defence Force to enhance their surveillance, air battlespace management, and air defence systems.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity based in Adelaide.

About The Role
n
n
Conduct major engineering assignments in collaboration with other members of the project engineering team.
n
Perform requirement analysis and design and implement engineering solutions to meet regulatory requirements and customer's needs.
n
Conduct verification and validation (V&V;) and prepare verification plans and procedures.
n
Conduct and manage system testing activities, as well as identify system requirements and manage configuration.
n

About You
n
n
A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline).
n
Extensive V&V; experience with mission‐critical systems.
n




Proficient in hardware installation and configuration.
n
Experience with electrical systems, including Voice Communications Systems, Radios, or Telephony (VoIP, analog, or digital).
n
Experience working on all phases of the System Development Life Cycle.
n
Experience working with complex defence projects is highly desirable.
n
