Overview
Responsible for providing effective and accurate analytical support to the Global store teams by producing monthly operational targets, detailed variance analysis and ad-hoc reporting as required.
Responsibilities
Finance Business Partner for Retail and Online
Lead process improvement of financial and operational reporting across the business
Daily, weekly and monthly report preparation and distribution on key store metrics
Global forecasting of sales and wages
Utilising BI reporting and managing forecast uploads
Month end journals, review and reconciliation for retail related transactions
Present monthly retail results, highlighting areas of success and challenges
Partner and provide insight and analysis of monthly results for retail
Prepare and distribute quarterly Regional, State and Country Manager bonus reporting
Provide retail with relevant wage forecasts for new and closing stores and for sale and stocktake periods
Support Accounts Payable with invoice coding for store costs
Assisting in building reports and key Sales KPI dashboards
Identify through financial analysis cost reduction opportunities
Build strong relationships with stakeholders including retail operations, IT and department heads
Qualifications
A relevant Finance Degree and be part way through or have completed CA/CPA
Previous experience as a Finance / Business Analyst in the fashion retail industry
Advanced Excel skills
Proficient IT Platform user who can demonstrate implementation of IT efficiencies
The ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy
A sound understanding of accounting and financial principles
Demonstrated understanding of Customer experience and ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external Customers
Proven ability to plan, organise and deliver results on time in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated working both independently & in a team environment
