The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an Planning & Environment Lawyer to join a growing Brisbane-based team. The role is open to lawyers at Associate or Senior Associate level, with flexibility for part-time candidates who bring high-quality experience.
This new role has been created to support practice growth and service an existing premium client base. You'll gain exposure to both front-end advisory work and specialist litigation, developing expertise across a broad range of matters, including:
Environmental and planning approvals for major projects
Land access, native title and cultural heritage issues
Advisory and disputes across multiple jurisdictions
Supporting energy, resources, renewables and infrastructure developments
You will report directly to a partner with over 20 years' experience, consistently recognised in
Chambers & Partners
as a leading environment and planning lawyer. You'll benefit from close mentoring and client exposure on high-value matters for both private sector and government clients.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in environment & planning, native title, land access or related areas
Strong written and analytical skills, with sound judgment and reasoning ability
Comfort working across jurisdictions and handling both advisory and contentious matters
A genuine commitment to continual learning and delivering outstanding client service
