Want to practise paediatric OT without overloaded caseloads or productivity targets?
Seeds Occupational Therapy is a small, independent, therapist-led practice providing home and community-based paediatric OT across Melbourne.
We believe therapists who feel properly supported provide better care. That means manageable workloads, fair remuneration, genuine flexibility and enough time to build meaningful relationships with children and families.
The role
We're looking for a warm and thoughtful Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.
You'll support children and families in their homes and communities, helping children participate more fully in everyday life through relational, strengths-based and evidence-informed practice.
You can shape the role around your life—whether you want to see a small number of clients each week or gradually develop a larger caseload. Referrals will be matched to your preferred geographic area wherever possible.
What you'll receive
Approximately 75% of the NDIS rate
A fully flexible workload—you choose your days and caseload
Regular clinical supervision and mentoring
Strong administrative support
No productivity quotas or pressure to overload your calendar
Referrals matched geographically wherever possible
Autonomy in your clinical work
A small, collaborative and therapist-led team
About you
We're more interested in who you are than how many years you've worked.
You'll likely be someone who:
Believes in connection before correction
Is warm, reliable and genuinely curious
Enjoys working alongside children, families and educators
Communicates clearly and professionally
Wants to keep developing as a clinician
Paediatric experience is welcome but not essential.
Current graduates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
ABN and appropriate professional insurance
Why Seeds?
No corporate owners.
No unnecessary KPIs.
No expectation to fill every space in your calendar.
Just good occupational therapy, supportive colleagues and enough time to do work you're proud of.
