We are looking for aMeasurement Software Engineerto help build a comprehensive quantum measurement and control software system from the ground up.
This role involves implementing the complete quantum control pipeline—from quantum circuits to hardware execution—while ensuring robust validation, error handling, and seamless integration with advanced hardware systems.
Job Requirements
Have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Experienced withPythonand comfortable withC++(or willing to learn).
Knowledgeable aboutsignal processing—waveform generation, synthesis, digitization, and validation.
Experienced withmulti‐component system architecture—understanding data flow through compilation, validation, and execution stages.
Comfortable withhardware integrationat multiple levels.
Proficient withGitand cooperative development workflows.
Advocate forlean, minimalistic codewith clear separation of concerns across system components.
Comfortable working withscientific/technical dataand understanding quantum computing domain requirements.

Have experience withquantum computingor quantum control systems.
Have worked with laboratory instrumentation—AWGs, digitizers, microwave sources, control electronics.
Have worked withFPGAor embedded systems for real‐time control.
Have experience withcompiler designor multi‐stage compilation pipelines.
Have builtvalidation and testing frameworksfor complex systems.
Have contributed to open‐source scientific software projects.
Have experience withdistributed storage systemsand data correlation across multiple databases.
Understanddevice safety limitsand hardware protection mechanisms.
Job Responsibilities
Build our new comprehensive quantum measurement and control software system from the ground up.
Implement the entire quantum control pipeline from quantum circuits through to hardware execution.
Work with multi‐layer validation systems.
Interface with comprehensive storage and tracking systems.
Implement error handling and safety systems.
Interface with Quantum Machines hardware (DACs/ADCs).
Collaborate with quantum theorists and experimentalists to enable quantum control research.
Be part of a team that values rigour, creativity, and collaboration.
Work with world‐class scientists and engineers on ambitious technical challenges.
Help shape a future where quantum computing is accessible, scalable, and transformative.
