Afrimat CM North (S&P; Workshop), based at Glen Douglas, has a vacancy for a:
Site Supervisor (Mechanical)
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Minimum Grade 12
Relevant Red Seal
Minimum 5 years' experience in a plant maintenance, repair and installation of equipment environment of which preferably 2 years' experience in a Supervisory role
Experience in fault finding and repair on mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics
Valid drivers license
Ability to work under pressure
Positive leadership and communication skills
Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act
Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)
Lead a team and take responsibility for work to be done on sites
Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on site
Ensure work is completed according to engineering drawings, specifications,



and project standards
Identify and resolve technical and operational issues
Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and safe working practices
Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to achieve project objectives
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards
Must have a broad knowledge of Conveyor Belts, Gearboxes, Fluid drives, Bearings, Pumps, and Screens
Perform other maintenance actions, following checklists
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
The candidates must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
