Registered Nurse – Part‐Time/Casual
We are seeking registered nurses to support rehabilitation units across orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac and pulmonary specialties. The role is part‐time or casual within a multidisciplinary team and focuses on delivering high‐quality care and encouraging career development.
Key Responsibilities
Planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
Leading the coordination of nursing care and supervising Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Nursing Assistants (AINs).
Providing education, support and guidance to patients for the management of health recovery, rehabilitation or end‐of‐life needs.
Delivering outstanding patient care within a dedicated team.
Continuously developing professional skills through ongoing education and support.
Qualifications




Current registration with APHRA.
Minimum of 3 years experience in medical/surgical nursing.
Compliance with ACQSHC national standards.
Commitment to quality patient care.
Strong teamwork ethic.
Sound clinical decision‐making and problem‐solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer‐service skills.
Working With Children Check.
