A day in the life of a Chef
n
Join our Adelaide team as a casual Chef and play a key role in delivering an exceptional in-flight dining experience for some of the world's leading 5-star airlines. Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Working in a rapid-paced commercial kitchen.
n
Preparing and cooking a variety of bulk hot and cold dishes, following menu specifications and ensuring consistent quality.
n
Using advanced knife skills and food preparation equipment efficiently, maintaining portion control and minimising waste.
n
Conducting quality checks and upholding all food safety, safety, and hygiene policies, including HACCP.
n
Coordinating catering staff and other team members to deliver to production schedules.
n
Demonstrating basic computer skills for administrative tasks.

About You
n
n




Full ongoing working rights in Australia.
n
Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
n
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher).
n
2+ years' chef experience.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen under pressure.
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
n
Availability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays) and to stand for extended periods.
n
Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable).
n
