About the role

Farmhouse Montessori School is a small, not for profit community preschool in the heart of North Balgowlah, growing its 3–6 years team. We are looking for two exceptional educators to join our close knit preschool community: a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and a Montessori 3–6 trained educator. You will work alongside experienced educators who care deeply about their practice, within an Exceeding rated service where educators are trusted as professionals and quality is genuinely valued.

Key responsibilities

- For Early Childhood Teacher: Be a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with current NESA accreditation

- Have strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and National Quality Standards

- Bring a strong work ethic, initiative and professionalism

- Be a confident leader who contributes positively to team culture

- Have high expectations for educational practice and children's learning

- Value thoughtful, intentional teaching and reflective practice

- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Be passionate about the importance of high quality early childhood education

- For Montessori 3–6 Educator: Bring recognised Montessori 3–6 training and a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, materials and the prepared environment

- Guide children through the 3–6 curriculum while contributing to a calm, purposeful and cooperative classroom community

About you

- Qualified Early Childhood Teacher with current NESA accreditation (for ECT position)

- Recognised Montessori 3–6 training (for Montessori Educator position)

- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and National Quality Standards





- Strong work ethic, initiative and professionalism
