About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Estimator and Department Managers, you'll take full ownership of our qualitative and creative work — tender writing, capability statements, and marketing content, grounded in a solid understanding of construction, grounds maintenance, and landscaping, while building your hands-on skills alongside our estimators on quantity take-offs and pricing support.

Qualitative Tendering & Marketing: your core focus

• Own the writing and compilation of qualitative, creative tender responses

• Prepare tender documents, capability statements, job profile sheets and submission materials

• Maintain and organise the tender document library/templates

• Format and proofread tender submissions for compliance with RFT requirements

• Support tender documents and capability statements with marketing input

• Maintain a portfolio of project photography and company achievements for tendering purposes

• Provide day-to-day support to the Estimating Team including quantity takes off and data entry where needed.

About You

You're a strong, confident writer who can take a tender brief and run with it end to end, with minimal hand holding. You're also genuinely curious about the technical side of the business, and happy to learn quantity take-offs and estimating support as you go.



You meet deadlines without letting quality slip, and when something needs fixing, you take it on board and move on rather than taking it personally.

You'll ideally bring:

• Confident, persuasive writing skills, with the ability to independently own clear, compliant, on-brief tender responses and marketing content from start to finish

• A solid working understanding of construction processes, grounds maintenance, and/or landscaping enough to read and interpret a tender specification correctly and write knowledgeably about scope of works

• Experience curating a project or achievement portfolio for marketing and promotional use

• Meticulous attention to detail, with a personal habit of checking your own work, especially under deadline pressure.

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple submissions, deadlines, and stakeholders at once

• A proactive mindset, someone who asks for help early rather than letting it sit

• A relevant qualification in construction, landscape/horticulture, marketing, or communications is a plus
