As part of our kitchen team at Pron Prohm Thai Restaurant, you will be preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent standard, managing your allocated section during service, and maintaining food quality, presentation and portion control. You will work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff in a busy restaurant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent standard
- Managing your allocated section during service
- Food preparation and mise en place
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion control
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workstation
- Contributing positively to a qualified and respectful kitchen environment
About you
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy restaurant
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- Works well within an established kitchen team
- Takes responsibility for the quality and consistency of their work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required
- Experience with Thai or Asian cuisine is highly regarded
