A well-regarded Australian bank is looking to hire a Senior Automation Engineer to join their network automation team on a permanent basis in Sydney

The role would suit someone with strong experience network software development and advanced python skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, operate, and enhance the software platforms and automation systems
- Continuously improve how large-scale networks are managed and automated
- Transform complex network workflows into scalable, reliable internal tools and services
- Collaborate closely with network engineers
- Work in an AI-assisted engineering environment

Key Requirements

- Experience building applications in a networks domain
- Solid Automation and IaC skills - hands on with Ansible and Terraform
- Understanding of Operating systems and container platforms
- Advanced Python skills - must have
- Experience working with MongoDB
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
