Western Work Force are currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing civil engineering business.

You’ll take ownership of projects, provide technical leadership to engineers and site teams, and work closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About the Role:

- Managing civil infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
- Providing technical leadership across earthworks, roadworks, drainage, pavements and concrete works.
- Developing construction methodologies, programs, budgets and resource requirements.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Monitoring project costs, variations, claims, forecasting and project progress.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, survey and geotechnical information.
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring works meet quality and compliance requirements.
- Supporting tenders, estimates, risk assessments and project planning.
- Identifying and resolving technical, commercial and construction issues.
- Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Mentoring and supporting engineers, graduates and supervisors.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability.

About You:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering,



ideally with solid construction/project delivery experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing civil infrastructure projects or significant work packages.
- Strong experience across earthworks, road construction, pavements, drainage and concrete.
- Experience working with Main Roads WA, local government or similar infrastructure clients is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and civil construction specifications.
- Experience with project programs, cost forecasting, variations and contractual documentation.
- Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings, specifications, survey and geotechnical information.
- Previous experience mentoring engineers or coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong MS Office and AutoCAD skills.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and Construction Induction Card.
