We are an Australian owned and operated conveyor maintenance company that services a range of sites across Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Belt Splicer to work full time from our workshop in Hervey Bay.

We are offering a base salary of $120,000 for the right person + vehicle use + a contribution towards any relocation costs.

The Role:

Working full time and based in Hervey Bay, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of conveyor belts both in our workshop and on site.

Your Responsibilities:

- Carry out conveyor belt splicing and repairs.

- Conveyor system maintenance including but not limited to: roller change outs, roller frame change out & repairs, skirt replacement & repairs, installation of tracking devices and chute lining repairs.

- General workshop duties

Requirements:

- Minimum of twelve (12) months experience in belt splicing and repairs

- A current forklift licence would be looked upon favourably

- A solid work ethic and the ability to follow instructions

- A responsible attitude and a willingness to be held accountable

- A willingness to work weekends as required

- Current motor vehicle licence
