We are seeking an licensed electrician to join our established Brisbane team of eight technicians, servicing clients across South East Queensland.

This is a hands-on service role. Our work is the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment — combi ovens, dishwashers, fryers, cooktops, grills and more. You would also act as the nominated Qualified Technical Person on our Queensland electrical contractor licence, and a licence allowance will reflect that responsibility.

You do not need experience with commercial kitchen equipment. If you have a solid electrical background in service, maintenance, industrial, facilities or appliance repair, and you enjoy diagnostic work, we will teach you the rest. That includes structured training on the leading commercial brands, and the support of an experienced team around you while you learn.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance, diagnose, and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, cooktops, dishwashers, and more.

- Conduct thorough inspections to identify equipment malfunctions, faulty components, and potential issues.





- Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner to minimise downtime and optimise functionality.

- Act as the nominated Qualified Technical Person on our Queensland electrical contractor licence.

- Collaborate with clients and provide exceptional customer service, addressing their concerns and offering recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.

- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used through our field app, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

- Stay updated with industry advancements and current technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

- A current unrestricted Queensland electrical work licence, held for at least two years, so you can be nominated as our Qualified Technical Person. If you already hold an electrical contractor licence, even better.

- Proven experience as an electrician, in any sector.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- A current Australian driver's licence.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, as required.

What we offer

- A base salary of $100,000 – $120,000 plus super, with a clear progression as you build experience on our equipment. A licence allowance applies on top, recognising your licence and your responsibility as our nominated Qualified Technical Person.
