We are seeking experienced, reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators for ongoing work within busy Cold Storage and Freezer warehouse environments.
Previous Cold Storage / Freezer warehouse experience is essential. We are looking for operators who already understand the demands of working in temperature-controlled environments and can confidently operate within a quick-paced warehouse.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE WITH:
- High Reach Forklifts
- Counterbalance Forklifts
- Slipsheet / Push Plate attachments
- Crown Joystick experience an advantage
- Putaways and replenishment
- Picking and movement of palletised stock
- RF scanning
- General warehouse duties as required
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience working in a Cold Storage / Freezer warehouse
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Strong High Reach and/or Counterbalance experience
- Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties/labouring when required
HOURS:
- Monday to Friday
- Ongoing, full-time hours available
- AM and PM shifts
- Flexibility for overtime when required
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Cold Storage / Freezer experience is essential
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Strong verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to understand workplace instructions and safety procedures
- Current Driver Licence and reliable transport
- Own PPE, including steel-capped safety boots
- Freezer clothing suitable for extremely cold environments preferred
- Current clean Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
