- Salary package: $88,670 - $100,815 per annum (HEW 5.1-5.4) plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading

We are looking for HR Shared Services Officers to join our Positions and Appointments team and play a vital part in supporting our staff.
In this role, you will work with up-to-date HR systems to help ensure seamless administration across the full employee lifecycle. About the Role
As an HR Shared Services Officer within the Positions and Appointments team, you will:
- Provide customer service and transactional support to employees, managers, candidates and affiliates, referring or escalating as appropriate.
- Assess, communicate and follow up on customer queries and ensure the correct application of organisational requirements.
- Deliver efficient, consistent and accurate transactional processing for Tier 1 and Tier 2 HR operational services, including (but not limited to) pre-employment checks, employee appointments, onboarding, HDR scholarship appointments, affiliate appointments and Honorary academic title appointments.
- Process employment-related transactions, ensuring relevant approvals, compliance with policy and procedures, and a high level of data accuracy.
- Track and monitor employee transaction progress, and follow up or redirect as required.
- Maintain a high level of data integrity and accuracy within systems, monitor data quality and consistency within and between HR systems, and resolve data quality errors with guidance from your Manager.
- Maintain accurate filing and storage of employment documentation, ensuring record keeping and archiving align with internal and external compliance requirements.
- Contribute to the implementation of improvements and standardisation of processes and standard operating procedures.

You are an organised and service-focused HR professional who enjoys getting the details right and working as part of a team. You bring solid experience with HR systems and processes, and you take pride in delivering accurate, reliable outcomes for the people you support.
Selection Criteria
- Knowledge and experience interpreting a diverse range of Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements and applying relevant employment legislation.
- Strong technical skills, including demonstrated experience using complex HR systems (Workday knowledge essential)
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Experience building and maintaining productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with a commitment to exceptional service delivery.
