We are currently seeking is seeking experienced Road Stabilisation Workers to join our client team. This is a hands-on operational role that plays a vital part in maintaining and improving road infrastructure across the region. As a Road Stabilisation Worker, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to stabilise, compact, and prepare road surfaces to meet safety and quality standards. This casual position offers flexibility whilst contributing to essential construction and maintenance projects that support the community's transportation network.

Key responsibilities

- Operate road stabilisation equipment and machinery in accordance with site specifications and safety protocols. This will include: Stabilisers, spreaders, loaders, excavators, rollers etc.

- Prepare and stabilise road surfaces using appropriate techniques and materials

- Compact and level road foundations to ensure structural integrity and longevity

- Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements

- Follow site instructions and work plans provided by supervisors and project managers

- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site-specific safety requirements

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project coordination





- Assist with general site housekeeping and equipment maintenance as required

What we're looking for

We are currently looking for experienced stabiliser operators, spreader ops, forepersons, truck drivers, mobile plant operators. All applicants will need to meet the following critreria.

- Proven experience operating road stabilisation equipment and machinery

- Minimum of a HR driver's licence

- Appropriate tickets for the machinery being operated

- Demonstrated knowledge of road construction and stabilisation techniques

- Sound understanding of health and safety practices within the construction industry

- Ability to read and interpret site plans and work specifications

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions and varying weather

- Flexibility to work on a varying schedules including regional and metro works
