If you are a physiotherapist with a passion for neurological rehab and want to work flexibly with a dynamic, rewarding and supportive community team, we would love to hear from you!
About the opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time (minimum 3 days) or full time Neurological Community Physiotherapist to join our growing team, with an immediate start. We are a team of multidisciplinary clinicians, working in one of our three outpatient clinics and community-based rehab service covering Metro Sydney and beyond.
We will happily discuss all candidate opportunities across Sydney Metro and will consider flexible work patterns to suit work/life balance. We aim to provide a clustered caseload in and around where our therapists live, or in a location which works for them and the business. Currently the locations we are looking to capture are the Hills, Northern Suburbs or North Shore of Sydney.
Therapists can choose to be based from home, rather than the clinics, meaning less time commuting.
Over the last 20 years, we have built a reputation as one of the most progressive neurological rehabilitation services in Australia - winning the Australian Allied Health Adult Practice Excellence Award in 2019 and the Allied Health Team Culture Excellence Award in 2021. Our rehabilitation clinics are located in Artarmon and Hurstville.
The neurological caseload can be challenging and would suit someone looking to stretch themselves. We manage clients with stroke/ABI, MS, PD, MND, spinal cord injury and other progressive conditions both acute/early in diagnosis and chronic stages.
Our clients are a mix of NDIS participants, private and compensable.
Why join us?
- Dynamic Opportunity - Ideal environment to further develop your skills as a community physiotherapist through a challenging and interesting neuro caseload with excellent support.
- Excellent Team Culture - We are a growing team that is family owned and operated and have kept our close-knit, supportive team culture. We support wellbeing at work and have an EAP Assist program and Employee Recognition Program.
- Skilled Management - Our management and leadership teams all come from skilled, therapy backgrounds - they are very hands-on and always available on site for both informal and informal support to both in-clinic and community teams.
- Professional Development Focused - Outstanding CPD program and ongoing support for your own development and learning, including weekly neuro education; weekly MDT team meeting; formal induction process; ongoing clinical supervision; access to ARCademy with external guest speakers; support with leadership and career progression; and external courses hosted onsite.
- Career Growth - Opportunities for future supervision and leadership positions
- Multidisciplinary Team - Excellent holistic client care provided between professions, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Allied Health Assistants, Neuromuscular Orthotics, Psychology and Speech Pathology.
- Attractive Salary Package and Perks - including car allowance, smart phone, laptop, generous CPD budget, additional super contributions, salary with generous base rate of pay and commission arrangements considered. Salary dependent on experience.
About you:
- Compassionate and ambitious for patient success
- Motivated to help people and develop skills
- Able to work autonomously
- Open to feedback & willing to learn
