About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, ambitious, career driven Senior Accountant to join our team. Minimum 2 years’ experience. The role has the potential for growth for those with accounting career aspirations. The successful candidate will be encouraged to build and manage their own client base, including direct and consistent client contact, and will include mentoring and managing junior staff members via providing guidance and direction. The role will involve various accounting aspects, including but not limited to, business and personal taxation, preparation of financials, preparation of activity statements and more detailed tax planning and detailed business related transactions.

About you

- Minimum 2 years' experience

- Degree in Commerce, Business, or Accounting

- Commencement or willing to commence CA/CPA Qualifications

- Knowledge of general financial accounting and reporting principles

- Self motivation and excellent attention to detail

- Determination to succeed and strong work ethic

- Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills

- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to analyse financial data

- Ability to work in a team setting
