Location: Brisbane & Queensland

We welcome applications from both Level 2 and Level 3 Support Coordinators. This role is offered with flexible employment options -we are open to casual, part‑time, or full‑time arrangements, depending on your experience, availability, and the needs of our participants.

About the Role

At Brain Injury Care and Supports, we believe every person deserves support that honors their story, respects their individuality, and strengthens their independence. Our Support Coordinators play a vital role in helping participants build stable, safe, and empowering lives through high‑quality coordination, advocacy, and genuine human connection.

About Us

We are also expanding into new service streams, including:

- DVA (Veterans’ Supports)

This role offers opportunities to grow with us as these programs develop.

Our Mission

We aim to redefine excellence in disability support by providing compassionate, innovative, and personalized services that genuinely transform lives. We listen deeply, improve continuously, and create a community where every individual is respected, supported, and empowered.

Our Values

Compassion – We lead with empathy and understanding. Respect – We honor diversity, individuality, and lived experience. Integrity – We act with transparency, honesty, and professionalism. Collaboration – We work closely with participants, families, and providers. Innovation – We seek creative solutions to improve participant outcomes.

Position Overview

As a Level 3 Support Coordinator, you will support NDIS participants with complex needs by coordinating services,

strengthening capacity, and ensuring supports are delivered safely and effectively. You will work across all support environments, including in‑home supports, community access, Supported Independent Living (SIL), and complex care arrangements.

A key part of this role involves assisting participants with Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangements. You will help participants identify suitable SIL options, understand service choices, and transition smoothly into SIL environments. You will monitor service quality, advocate for participant rights, and support changes when issues arise- ensuring participants have a safe, comfortable, and personalized living environment that adapts to their needs over time.

This is more than a coordination role- it’s an opportunity to become a trusted partner in someone’s life. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly how we like it.

Key Responsibilities

Participant Coordination & Support

- Assist participants to understand and utilize their NDIS plans

- Coordinate Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports

- Strengthen participant capacity to manage their own supports

- Represent the organization at events, expos, and networking opportunities

- Engage with mainstream services and informal supports

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate records and participant documentation

- Prepare reports, progress updates, and NDIS‑required submissions

Why This Role Is Different

Exceptional Support Coordination changes lives.

We’ve seen the confidence it builds, the barriers it removes, and the opportunities it creates. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.

While billable hours matter for sustainability, they are not the purpose of this role. The best Support Coordinators aren’t remembered for utilization targets — they’re remembered because they answered the phone, followed through, communicated openly, and earned trust.

Relationships matter. Responsiveness matters. Professional judgement matters. Doing what you said you would do matters. Most of all - participant outcomes matter.

If that resonates with you, you’ll thrive here.
