Located within St Oliver Plunkett School in Cannon Hill, our service provides before school, after school and vacation care for up to 225 children from Prep to Year 6. With access to the school's excellent facilities, we offer a rich, engaging environment where children can learn, play and grow.
We provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children enjoy a wide range of age-appropriate experiences. One of our favourite activities is time spent in our community garden - digging, planting and connecting with nature alongside the children.
Casual shifts are available, with an ideal candidate having availability on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging recreational and educational experiences that support children’s well-being and development.
- Provide a protected, caring, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Work collaboratively within an experienced team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development opportunities.
- Represent and promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s values and educational philosophy.
Job Requirements:
- Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current or up-to-date Child Protection training or willingness to take training as required
- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework,
My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
