We are currently seeking an experienced and inspiring Centre Manager to lead the team at our Early Education service in Sunshine Coast, QLD!

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Centre Manager to strengthen and uplift our Early Childhood service in Birtinya. This role suits a confident and resilient individual with extensive proven capability across all areas of service delivery; ready to drive practice and quality to new heights. You’ll approach the role with a keen commercial lens, balancing family and business needs while focusing on occupancy growth and team culture within a close-knit community. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a steady, solutions-focused leader to foster relationships, build team morale, and enhance the service’s overall performance.
Salary: $95,000 to $138,500 per annum plus Superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:
- Confident leading innovative programming and implementing contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, paired with professional resilience
- Exposure to and/or experience with RIE approach with the motivation to actively embed and model this in practice
- Committed to building positive, inclusive relationships with colleagues, families and children, as well as the wider community
- Enthusiastic, dedicated,
and reliable professional; relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and eager to grow with the service.
Essential Criteria:
- Valid QLD Blue Card
- Strong demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities
- Recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree, or working towards, otherwise must hold an ACECQA approved Diploma qualification
- Available for full-time work across service operational days and hours, with flexibility as required
- Significant experience as a Centre Manager or senior leadership experience within an Early Childhood setting
- Current Food Safety training, with a certificate to be provided*
- Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for 'Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk', with evidence to be provided*
- Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided*
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates, with certificate/s to be provided*
* To be completed prior to your first working shift.
