About the role

The Outback Distilling Co. is seeking enthusiastic and engaging Part-time Sales & Brand Ambassadors to represent our premium distilling brand across Brisbane. This is a contract position based in Brisbane QLD 4000, offering adaptable part-time hours that allow you to build your own schedule whilst promoting our distinctive spirits to customers and stakeholders. As a Sales & Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of The Outback Distilling Co., creating memorable experiences and driving brand awareness within the local market. This role is pivotal in establishing solid connections with retailers, hospitality venues, and consumers, directly contributing to our brand's growth and market presence in Queensland.

What you'll be doing

- Represent The Outback Distilling Co. at retail locations, bars, restaurants, and promotional events, engaging with customers and sharing the story of our premium spirits

- Conduct product tastings and demonstrations, educating consumers about our distillery heritage, production methods, and unique flavour profiles

- Build and maintain relationships with key retailers and hospitality venues to increase product placement and sales opportunities

- Execute point-of-sale promotions and merchandising initiatives to drive product visibility and consumer interest

- Gather valuable customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies

- Promote brand loyalty through engaging conversations and personalised customer service that reflects The Outback Distilling Co. values

- Meet agreed sales targets and KPIs whilst maintaining detailed records of promotional activities and customer interactions

- Represent the brand professionally at events, trade shows, and community occasions

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in sales,



brand ambassador roles, or customer-facing positions within the beverage or hospitality industry

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build rapport quickly

- Genuine passion for premium spirits, craft beverages, or the distilling industry (training will be provided for product knowledge)

- Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and drive conversions

- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and event-based promotional activities

- Self-motivated and proactive approach to identifying opportunities and taking ownership of brand representation

- Professional appearance and demeanour that aligns with premium brand positioning

- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport for attending various locations across Brisbane

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail when managing promotional materials and customer information

- Preferred: Knowledge of the Australian spirits market, experience in retail or on-trade environments, or existing networks within the Brisbane hospitality scene
