Position
Due to ongoing growth, a Service & Installation Coordinator role has become available within the Blacktown office. This is a key coordination position responsible for scheduling technicians, managing service and installation jobs, communicating with customers and clients, and ensuring jobs progress efficiently from booking through to completion.
Responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating the daily scheduling and allocation of service and installation jobs to technicians.
* Managing multiple technician workloads and ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently.
* Monitoring job progress and proactively following up outstanding work.
* Responding to urgent service requests and reprioritising schedules when required.
* Coordinating return visits, parts requirements, and follow-up works.
* Communicating with customers, builders, real estate agencies, body corporates, and commercial clients.
* Creating and managing service jobs, work orders, job notes, and technician updates.
* Assisting with service quotes, purchase orders, invoicing, and general administration.
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in service coordination,
scheduling, administration, or a similar role involving technicians, tradespeople, contractors, or field service teams. Robust organisational skills, attention to detail, communication ability, and the confidence to manage competing priorities are essential.
The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include:
* Previous experience in service coordination, scheduling, or a similar position.
* Experience coordinating technicians, tradespeople, contractors, or field service teams.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
* Confident and professional telephone manner.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Previous experience within the automatic doors, gates, access control, security, electrical, construction, or facilities industries will be highly regarded.
