About Knox Private Hospital
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Medical and Surgical care, Critical Care, and comprehensive Cardiac Services, including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
Our expanding theatre department supports a wide variety of specialties, including:

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse within our Anaesthetics team,
you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative journey. Working alongside leading surgeons, anaesthetists and perioperative professionals, you'll contribute to exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care in accordance with best practice standards
- Supporting patients throughout their surgical experience
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining safe clinical environments for patients and staff
- Supervising and supporting Enrolled Nurses and other team members
- Providing patient education and clinical support throughout recovery and rehabilitation
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring care outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
About You
You'll be a passionate and motivated Registered Nurse who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Essential Criteria
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Current Working with Children Check
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Anaesthetics and/or Recovery nursing, or completion of a graduate program in an acute hospital with a Theatre rotation
- Experience with difficult airway management, fibre optic intubation and regional blocks
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to quality improvement and patient-centred care
- Understanding of ACQSHC National Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Basic computer literacy

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2025 (Salay range between $41.90 and $53.70 + 12.5% Super)
