This is a permanent part-time role for 2 days per week (with flexibility to work any two days from Tuesday - Thursday) working in-office at our spacious, light-filled office with undercover parking in Gladesville, Sydney.

About the Role

The Regulatory Affairs Manager is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance for product, packaging and claims across Australia, New Zealand, EU and global markets for international Nutrimetics companies. This role requires Australian experience and extensive knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements. Experience with global compliance in international markets is also required, particularly European regulations.

Sitting within the New Product Development team, your extensive knowledge and expertise of Formulated Beauty products will be highly sought and is essential to the success of this role. This regulatory role is not a transactional function. It is relationship based and is deeply integrated into various areas of the business, including:

- Product development

- Claims and marketing approval

- Artwork and packaging governance

- Supplier and safety documentation

- Ongoing registrations, reporting and audits

- APCO reporting

- Long term compliance planning and risk mitigation

- Trademarks / Legal / Intellectual Property





- Manufacturing contract support

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Review all product formulation and draft ingredient listing either developed by Nutrimetics or third party to ensure all ingredients are acceptable for use internationally in Nutrimetics' operating countries and meet ingredient policy.

- Register new products in the EU CPNP registration database to ensure products are notified prior to product launch in EU, and co-ordinate with EU responsible person with cosmetic products related compliance issues in EU.

- Listing of all therapeutic products with TGA.

- Keeping up to date and liaising with legal and government agencies on all regulatory issues.

- Liaise with Marketing on review of therapeutic claims for brochure and other literature. This includes review of all product artworks to ensure trade and regulatory compliance.

- Review Product Information Sheets (PIS) for therapeutic claims and ingredient information claims.

- Review packaging for commercial safety on new product development as required.

- Respond to customer enquiries relating to ingredient safety and product safety information.





- Responsible for coordinating and submitting annual reports for the Australian Packaging Covenant.

What You Bring

- Demonstrated experience within the Beauty and Skincare industry.

- Degree qualification or equivalent in Science or related field.

- Qualification in Science or related field from a University in EU member countries.

- Knowledge in EU cosmetic regulation and Notification of cosmetics in CPNP database.

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical / regulatory affairs role.

- Knowledge in AICIS registration (previously NICNAS).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Excellent communication and written skills.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

- Excellent organisation and time management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects.
