Shield Recruitment is seeking External Audit, Accounting, Assurance and Financial Reporting professionals for multiple opportunities with a leading qualified services organisation in Canberra. These roles support Australian Government engagements, covering external audit, financial reporting, accounting advisory, assurance and finance transformation.

Key responsibilities
n
Deliver external audit and assurance activities
n
Prepare and review financial statements and reporting
n
Analyse financial information and identify risks
n
Assess financial controls and processes
n
Provide accounting and reporting advice
n
Support finance transformation and process improvement
n
Prepare high-quality working papers and client deliverables
n
Manage stakeholder relationships and engagement requirements
n




At senior levels, lead engagements and mentor junior team members
n
About you
n
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline
n
1+ years' experience in external audit, accounting, assurance or financial reporting
n
Robust analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
n
High attention to detail and professional judgement
n
CA/CPA qualified, studying or eligible to commence
n
Big 4/mid-tier experience highly regarded
n
Australian Government experience advantageous
n
