An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a leading, well-established Corporate and Commercial team in the Melbourne CBD.
n
This role would suit an intermediate Legal Assistant with around 3–4 years' experience who has genuine Corporate and/or Commercial legal experience and is looking to join a busy and collaborative team supporting a team of lawyers.

About the role
n
n
Providing day-to-day legal and administrative support.
n
Managing matters, correspondence, documents and key deadlines
n
Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
n
Assisting with corporate transactions, due diligence and transaction processes
n
Conducting ASIC and other relevant searches
n
Coordinating document execution and signing
n
Assisting with client onboarding and matter administration
n
Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
n
Assisting with billing, WIP and end-of-month processes
n

3–4 years' Legal Assistant experience

Previous experience within a Corporate and/or Commercial legal practice is essential

Solid understanding of commercial legal processes

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

Proactive, reliable and willing to take initiative
n
Positive attitude and solid team approach
n
Able to manage a busy workload and work autonomously
n
