Ayra Kabir Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Full Time Cook to join our team in Widgee, QLD.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and customer preferences
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Train and supervise kitchen staff, as needed
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
Adhere to portion control and cost management guidelines
Handle and store food products properly
Assist with inventory and stock management
Other duties as assigned by management




Requirements:
12 months of work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
Certificate 3 in commercial cookery or equivalent
Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
Must have a valid work permit for Australia
