Your Recent Role
n
As the Civil Project Engineer, you will take responsibility for the civil delivery of utility scale BESS projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
n
You will coordinate subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders, manage site activities and resolve technical and construction issues throughout the project lifecycle.
n
This role is suited to a Civil Site/Project Engineer with solid end-to-end project delivery experience across BESS or HV infrastructure who can combine technical civil knowledge with strong subcontractor and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead the civil delivery of utility scale BESS projects from pre-construction through to completion
n




Manage civil subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders across project delivery
n
Oversee a broad range of civil works including earthworks, bulk works, geotechnical works, piling, foundations and associated civil requirements
n
Manage site activities, resolve technical and construction issues and identify solutions to maintain project progress
n
Coordinate civil delivery with electrical, engineering and construction teams while managing risks, quality and programme
n

Your Experience
n
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Civil Engineering degree with strong end-to-end project delivery experience
n
Experience delivering utility-scale BESS projects, ideally 5MW+ or larger
n
Broad civil construction experience including earthworks, geotechnical works, piling and foundations, with knowledge of FRP and CBR requirements
n
Solid experience leading subcontractors and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
n
HV substation project experience will also be highly regarded
n
