The Senior Systems Engineer is a highly proactive, hands-on role responsible for managing and maintaining IT and systems administration. As a robust generalist with a deep specialisation in storage, you will manage a complex, heavily on-premises setting utilising a mix of products to support the data-heavy creative pipelines.

You will support and evaluate the current infrastructure and drive initiatives to modernise, streamline and simplify the storage and systems landscape.

About you
n
n
5+ years in a Systems Engineering/Administration role
n
Enterprise Storagen
n
Expertise with SAN/NAS high-capacity clusters, Fibre Channel switching, and SMB/NFS shares for cross-platform workflows
n
Experience with archiving/restoration technologies
n
n
Systems Administration - able to manage both Windows and Linux server environments
n
Networking & Security - provision core and access switches, manage VLANs, subnets and network protocols, and administer firewalls and VPN
n
Virtualisation - deploy and manage public cloud and on-premises virtualisation technologies
n
Ability to script and automate administrative processes and troubleshoot production pipeline issues using languages such as Python, Bash and PowerShell
n
You will champion a collaborative, "can-do" culture!
