Transcend Workforce is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing and reinforcement workshop based in Sunshine North. You'll be operating cutting and bending machines in a rapid-paced setting.

Machine Operator - Steel Cutting & Bending
n
n
Operate heavy-duty, high-precision steel cutting and bending machines
n
Use of gantry crane to safely move materials
n




Load steel coils or bars into machines
n
Monitor automatic feeding, cutting, and bending operations
n
Conduct quality checks against bar schedules
n
n
About You
n
n
Proven machine operation experience - essential
n
Background in manufacturing or steel reinforcement
n
Knowledge of rebar types and grades is a bonus!
n
Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential
n
Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check
n
Must have full Australian working rights
n
n
Experience from a heavy manufacturing setting is essential for this role.
