Medical Device Assembly Technician (multiple roles)

Care Essentials is an Australian medical device manufacturer. We make warming machines/blankets, PPE including N95/P2 respirators, CSSD wraps and other medical consumables. Our products are made in Australia and exported to over 70 countries and the company enjoys a good reputation.

Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for multiple device assembly technicians to join our Patient Warming Device assembly team. As a team member, you will be involved in various stages of the device assembly and testing process.
n
The roles are fulltime casual with a view to becoming permanent. There is chance to grow into a Supervisor role for those with prior experience and positive work attitude.

Responsibilities
n
Assembly and testing of medical devices
n
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and inspections
n
Follow established protocols and verification processes during assembly and testing
n




Assist with verification and validation tasks to ensure compliance and product quality
n
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices
n
Assist in various R&D; projects related to medical devices
n
Assist with device packing
n
Skills and experience
n
Certificate from TAFE or equivalent in electronics or electrical, mechatronics or sufficient on the job experience doing similar work.
n
Familiarity with test and tagging procedure, test and tag certification and AS/NZS standards knowledge is an added advantage.
n
Prior experience in device assembly and repair is a plus
n
Proficiency in using electric and hand tools for assembly and repairs
n
High attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
n
positive attitude and solid team player, able to collaborate effectively with others
