The Opportunity

A listed business is bringing on an experienced Payroll Officer to help carry the load through a busy growth period. You'll own the payroll cycle end to end, working alongside a tight-knit finance team that's well regarded internally and set up to support you from day one.

This is an ASAP start on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong chance of extension as the business continues to scale. It's a excellent fit if you're available now and want to plug into an established payroll function where your experience will be put to positive use immediately.

Key Responsibilities
n

Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time across the pay cycle
n
Handle current starters, terminations, and changes to employee records
n
Calculate and reconcile PAYG,



superannuation, and leave entitlements
n
Respond to payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
n
Support month-end payroll reporting and reconciliations
n
Ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and internal policies
n

About You
n
You'll bring at least 2 years of proven end-to-end payroll experience and be comfortable running a cycle independently. Strong attention to detail, solid systems confidence, and a calm, methodical approach will see you settle in quickly. Being available to start immediately is key for this one.
