Experienced Forklift Operator – Coopers Plains

Precision Labour Hire is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators for ongoing opportunities with a busy steel distribution facility based in Coopers Plains.
n
We are looking for reliable, safety-focused operators with experience handling steel products and operating large-capacity forklifts.

The Chance

Ongoing Monday to Friday work
n
AM shifts available: 4:00am–12:00pm or 6:00am–2:00pm
n
$* per hour
n
Coopers Plains location
n
Ongoing work with a busy steel distribution facility
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safely operate large-capacity forklifts in a steel distribution workplace
n
Load and unload trucks and shipping containers
n
Move, handle and organise steel products and materials
n
Mark loads for despatch
n
Complete second load restraint checks using a tablet or computer
n




Assist with despatch and general computer-based tasks as required
n
n
About You
n
n
Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
n
Minimum 12 months' forklift operating experience (essential)
n
Computer confidence, including tablets and despatch systems (essential)
n
Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts
n
Experience using probe and tyne forklift attachments
n
Experience handling steel products
n
Background in steel, transport, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
n
Solid safety awareness and attention to detail
n
n
n
Reliable transport and a dependable work ethic
n
n
Steel industry experience, including steel coil handling and the use of probe or tyne attachments, will be highly regarded.
