We're an established, growing business with contemporary systems, a top-tier external accounting firm behind us, and a genuine seat at the table for the right finance professional.The roleYou'll run the day-to-day finance operations end to end, reporting directly to the Managing Director:End-to-end weekly payroll for an award-covered workforce (STP, super, payroll tax)Accounts payable — invoice matching against POs, preparing weekly payment runsJob invoicing,



progress claims and collections in simPRODaily bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting across group entities in QuickBooks OnlineBAS/IAS preparation working with our external accountants (Pitcher Partners)Month-end close and a monthly management reporting pack with real commentaryJob-costing and margin reporting on live manufacturing projectsThis is a hands-on role with clean, modern controls: you prepare, the MD approves — so you're never carrying sole responsibility for company funds.About you3+ years running accounts in an SME — manufacturing, construction or trades idealConfident with payroll for award-covered staffStrong on QuickBooks Online (or Xero/MYOB and quick to convert) and ExcelCert IV/Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or the experience to matchMeticulous, discreet, deadline-driven — you find the discrepancy before anyone else doesBonus points for job-costing experience in a project environmentWhy CDWDirect access to the owner — decisions get made same-dayModern systems (QuickBooks Online, simPRO, Microsoft 365) — no shoebox bookkeepingEstablished 25+ year business with blue-chip hospitality clientsOn-site parking, secure full time hours, genuine long-term roleExternal top-tier accounting firm handles the tax complexity — you run operations
