Our client a well-established engineering and fabricating company who provides high quality products to their clients. Currently they are looking for full time skilled and experienced Metal Machinist (First Class) to join their dynamic team.

You will be working as part of a friendly team to highly produce products.
You must have experience assisting in the set up, calibrate and operation of CNC machines and equipment, including preparing test runs to ensure a machine is working properly and inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet
requirements.

Your tasks may include the following:

• Interpretation of engineering drawings

• Setup, calibrate and operate machine tools, accessories and equipment
• Keep detailed records for equipment and procedures
• Use precision measuring equipment

• Shape and form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances

• Perform necessary maintenance and cleaning on equipment
• Supervise machines as they run and make adjustments as needed




• Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required specifications
• Abide by company safety guidelines.

Key requirements.
Minimum of certificate III or higher in a relevant qualification with 2 years of experience, or or at least 3 years of relevant experience
Positive organizational skills with a "can do" attitude
Experience in working in a small to medium but highly task orientated engineering work Ability to work under pressure
Physically fit
Knowledge of large manufacturing plants and conveying systems (Preferred)

Your creativity and specialized skills in sheet metal work is highly regarded.

Excellent salary package + Super (Between $90,000 to $100,000 per annum plus
superannuation).
