This is a fantastic chance for a suitably experienced nurse looking to experience working in a remote Queensland community.
The Role Position: Clinical Nurse – NG6
Location: Boulia, QLD
Classification: NG6
Contract: 7 September – 2 October 2026
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
On-call: After hours and weekends
About:
Boulia Health Clinic provides healthcare services to the local community and surrounding rural properties.
The clinic:
- Has no inpatient beds
- Supports the local community and surrounding rural properties
- Is supported by administration and operational staff
- Works alongside Queensland Ambulance Service
- Has emergency support through the Royal Flying Doctor Service
- Has community driver support
Essential Requirements To be considered, candidates must have:
- Previous Queensland Health experience
- Demonstrated Rural & Remote nursing experience
- Clinical nursing experience suitable for the role
- Current mandatory compliance documentation
- Availability for the entire contract period
