Senior Remedial / Structural / Façade / Forensic Engineer Western Sydney | Senior Technical Role | Diverse Projects | Growing Specialist Consultancy

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineer to join a highly regarded and growing specialist engineering consultancy in Western Sydney.

Working across remedial engineering, forensic investigations, structural assessments, façade and building envelope diagnostics and building defects, this team has established a strong reputation for solving complex engineering problems and delivering practical, commercially focused solutions.
With a significant pipeline of work across Sydney and regional NSW, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Remedial, Structural, Façade or Forensic Engineer to strengthen their senior technical capability.

The Opportunity This is a varied, hands-on consulting role suited to an engineer who enjoys investigating problems, determining the cause and developing practical engineering solutions.

Projects span residential, commercial, industrial and strata assets, with involvement from the initial inspection and investigation stage through to design, documentation and delivery of remediation works.

Depending on your background and experience, you will be involved in:

- Building inspections, structural investigations and condition assessments
- Diagnosis of structural defects, cracking, deterioration and building failures
- Façade, waterproofing and building envelope investigations
- Forensic engineering and technical assessments




- Preparation of detailed engineering and defect reports
- Development of practical remediation and rectification strategies
- Remedial structural design, specifications and documentation
- Managing projects through investigation, design, tender and construction
- Liaising directly with clients, contractors, strata managers, legal representatives and other consultants
- Site inspections and monitoring of remediation works
- Reviewing technical documentation and drawings
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continued development of the team

About You You will ideally be a Civil or Structural Engineer with strong Australian consulting experience and a background in one or more of the following areas:
Remedial Engineering | Structural Assessment | Forensic Engineering | Façade Engineering | Building Diagnostics | Building Defects
You will also bring:

- Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Robust investigative and technical problem-solving capability
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and NCC/BCA requirements
- Experience preparing technical reports, condition assessments and remediation recommendations




- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and project stakeholders
- The ability to manage projects and work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team

NSW Design Practitioner registration, or eligibility to obtain registration, will be highly regarded.
